Go to the view screen of the story. which you want to convert, and then choose more->Convert to sub-task. Then you will be asked to choose the parent issue and subtask type. Nick Brown Nov 13, 2017. Thank you!
The only native interface that provides the information in a format similar to that is the Roadmaps interface. For the Free and Standard subscriptions, the Roadmap interface will not include the Subtasks. You would need the Premium or Enterprise subscriptions to get the Advanced Roadmaps Plans functionality to show the subtask level.
Look to the three dots to the upper-right of the issue view - there is a "move" option in there that takes you to a screen with "change project" and "change parent" options. The Backlog is designed to show the independent items. In the Board view you can show the Sub-tasks by changing the grouping for the board to Subtasks. If your administrator has added the Issue Type field to the screen, then you can change the issue type by selecting the issue type icon near the top of the screen.
Converting issues to another issue type not working, option has changed to 'convert to sub task'. Satyendra Luckwani Jul 22, 2019.
